In 2022, after spending 20 years in the U.S., our founder, Avinash, made the life-changing decision to move back to India. He built a successful corporate career but always felt a strong connection to his roots. In 2022, driven by a desire for financial independence and a return to family life, he made the bold decision to move back to Hyderabad.
Realizing the challenges NRIs face in this transition—financial planning, career shifts, kids’ education, and more—he founded DesiReturn in 2023. Built from experience, DesiReturn bridges the gap for families considering or navigating their move back.
